What is a Psychic Attack?

A psychic attack is the manipulation of supernatural energies and forces which can be negative or dark forces that are sent from one individual to another individual or place and creates a disturbance in the energetic and physical bodies. These negative energies may be called spirits, or entities.

Psychic attacks have been blamed by some people to be the cause of things that do go wrong in someone’s life; some may even consider something bad that happens to a bad person as a payment for past sins, or jealousy from another person causing the recipient to have things go on in their lives. Some even blame entities living in trees in another plane of reality. Whatever they are called, these negative forces supposedly can affect somebody or someplace physically.

Societies in modern times still have superstitious beliefs that attempt to explain the supposedly unexplainable. Say for instance, in the Philippines. There are still beliefs that abound the culture of entities that live in trees and these entities can do harm to someone when and if they feel like it. So, if a young woman for example is sexually promiscuous, the explanation would be that she is haunted by a sexually dominant entity that is forcing her to do the acts. Or for example a child who is autistic, they can be treated by going to a witch doctor that will perform rites to rid the child of the entity that is trying to take over the body.

These beliefs are not just found in the Philippines, these same superstitions can also be found in Europe like Scotland and Ireland. If in the Philippines there is an evil entity which dwells in a baby, called the “tiyanak,” in Ireland they are called the “changelings.” Separate continents they may be, but the definitions of both are exactly the same.

Psychic attacks are usually used by the superstitious to excuse every single fault done consciously by another. A wayward wife can excuse her unexplained pregnancy by another man as the child of a good looking male fairy; a thief may excuse the theft as not their own act but by that of a dwarf, or an ogre, or a leprechaun or some other entities.

There is even a belief that if you are alone, be it daylight or dark and you hear your name called, even if you know for certain that there is no other person around you, you are not supposed to respond or to look back and see who is calling. That dark entity may just targeting you for a psychic attack and the sight of that entity will cause one to either go insane or simply die of fright.

One thing for certain, those who truly believe in psychic attacks are the most affected by negative forces, but that who’s strength of character and will are steadfast, they are protected and cannot be subjected to them. In short, if you believe, then you will get most affected.
